gFrudio
Terms of Use
Effective 17 August 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and gFrudio ("we", "us" or "our") concerning the Accountable application, related content and support services. If you do not agree, do not use Accountable.
Your use of Accountable is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with mandatory App Store terms, the applicable App Store terms control to the extent of that conflict.
2. What Accountable provides
Accountable provides personal budgeting, forecasting, reporting, import and export tools. Features may differ by device, operating-system version, subscription status and region. We may improve, change or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
3. Not financial advice
Accountable is a planning tool and does not provide financial, tax, accounting, investment, credit or legal advice. Forecasts, balances and other outputs depend on the information and assumptions you enter and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for checking important figures and making your own decisions, including obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
4. Your information and responsibilities
You retain ownership of information you enter into Accountable. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process that information through the app and its platform services. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy and lawfulness of information you enter, import or share;
- protecting your device, Apple Account and exported files;
- maintaining any backups you consider necessary;
- using Accountable in accordance with applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Accountable or attempt to interfere with its operation. You must not reverse engineer, copy, redistribute, rent, sell or exploit the app except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction. You must not use the app to infringe another person’s rights or for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity.
6. Accountable Plus subscriptions
Accountable may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through the App Store. Pricing, billing periods, trial terms (if any) and included features are displayed before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account after purchase confirmation.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple’s subscription settings before renewal.
- Apple handles billing, cancellation, refunds and payment processing under its applicable terms.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription through Apple’s subscription settings.
- If a subscription ends, free limits may apply. Accountable is designed to preserve existing data for viewing and export, although editing or premium features may be restricted.
7. iCloud and third-party services
Some functionality depends on services provided by Apple, including iCloud, CloudKit and the App Store. Availability and performance may be affected by your settings, network connection, storage allowance, Apple Account status or changes to those services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for matters outside our reasonable control.
8. Intellectual property
Accountable, its design, software, branding and original content are owned by gFrudio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Accountable in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s applicable licence agreement.
9. Availability and updates
We aim to provide a reliable app but do not promise that Accountable will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Updates may be required for continued compatibility, security or functionality. You should export or otherwise safeguard important information before making significant device, account or storage changes.
10. Consumer guarantees and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accountable is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from decisions made using forecasts or information in the app, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Accountable at any time. We may suspend access to services we control where reasonably necessary to address misuse, legal requirements, security risks or material breaches of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers and liability provisions—will continue.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Accountable, law or platform requirements. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, website or App Store listing where appropriate.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without limiting any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your usual place of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.
